Mary was one of the kindest and most caring people Ive ever known. She was my sister n law for many years and when my children were very young, she loved them as if they were her own. We spent many holidays together and one holiday in particular, I hosted Thanksgiving at our home with Mary and her friend. They planned to stay through the weekend and I was so excited. . I prepared a huge turkey dinner and apparently the turkey was underdone and they ended up sick in bed for the entire weekend, I felt so horrible about it, but we were able to sit back and laugh because she had such great sense of humor and the patience of a saint. Another fond memory of her was she purchased a Beanie Baby monkey as a special gift for my younger son, Brenndan. It immediately became his favorite toy and when i say favorite, I mean, he carried it with him everywhere he went. Over the years monkey was lost several times yet every single time we found him and sometimes he was even gone for more than a year and he would just show up out of the blue. My son is 30 years old now and still has monkey. Its pretty incredible when you think about how special that toy is and the joy its brought to Brenndan for many years. Not just because its “Monkey” but because of person that gave it to him. Thats just the kind of woman she was. We loved her dearly and I am so heartbroken that she’s gone. Our relationship was a close one over the years. We kept in touch. I wish I could’ve been closer to her distance wise, as time went on but fait took me in a different direction. Rest in peace sweet sister n law and friend. You’ll be missed very much ♥️
