Hillsborough, NJ – Angela Maria Ritorto, 80, died on April 25, 2016. She was born in Maropati, Reggio Calabria, Italy on September 20, 1935 to her dear parents, Carmela Ciurleo and Michele Condo and came to the United States in September, 1958. Angela was formerly a resident of Raritan before moving to Hillsborough 20 years ago.

Angela loved and enjoyed taking care of her family, by gardening, cooking, sewing (especially embroiding), and being a "Nonna". She was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Angela is survived by her beloved husband, Salvatore Ritorto; her loving children, Fortunato (Anna) Ritorto of Hillsborough, Carlo (Slavka) Ritorto of Hillsborough, and Frances (Steven) Swink of Raritan; a dear sister, Rosina Cavallaro; six wonderful grandchildren, Brittany (Jeff) Sisolak, Ryan Swink, Salvatore and Angelica Ritorto, Olivia and Sofia Ritorto; a adorable great-granddaughter, Stephanie; many nieces and nephews here in the United States and Italy; and her sister-in-law, Maria Lauvito and husband Biagio. She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Maria (1954); a brother, Carlo Condo; a sister, Giuseppina; two brother-in-laws, Giuseppe and Antonio.
