Obituary of Marie E Knight

Marie E Knight, 82, died August 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving children.    Born on February 16, 1942, in Astoria Queens New York to her dear parents Dina Evdana and Simon Kissag.

Marie is survived by her devoted children Christopher Knight and Dianne Hayes, her dear brother Leon Kissag and sister-in-law Eileen and her three beautiful grandchildren Alexis, Michael and Thomas. 

Marie was predeceased by her parents, her husband William Knight (1984) and her son Simon.   

Marie was a Claims Adjustor for Global in Metuchen, a Realtor with Bojum Realty and worked as a telemarketer for 30 years for McCall Publishing.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother, dearest grandmother and dear sister who enjoyed following the stock market, puzzles, trips to the casino, taking walks and classical music.  She was kind, caring, generous and was a hard worker.  Marie was a real “New Yorker”. 

A Viewing will take place on Tuesday August 20, 2024, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue Raritan NJ 08869 telephone (908)725-1887. 

Funeral Services Wednesday August 21, 2024, with a Viewing between 10:00am and 12:00pm followed by a burial at Hillside Cemetery Scotch Plains NJ with her beloved husband William.
