Bernard A. Golski, 80 died Friday, July 26, 2024.

Bernard was a math and computer teacher for over 35 years in the Metuchen school system.  A truly dedicated professional.

Bernie was born on August 8, 1943 to his late parents Helen and John Golski.

He was a devoted, loving, caring and kind son, brother, uncle and friend.  He was a funny man and always had many stories to tell over the years.  He loved gardening in his younger years and feeding the wildlife in his backyard.  He was an avid coin collector and a consumer of many gadgets. If you had something broken, he always had just the thing that might fix it!  He loved sitting with the neighbors outside and talking with his friends and family.  He was a wonderful person and will be greaty missed.

Bernie is survived by his brothers John J. Golski, Robert (Karen) Golski, Aunt Margaret Kuzio, Nieces Stephanie Golski, Caroline (Ryan) Lester, Nephew Ken (Ann) Golski, great-niece Molly, and great- nephews  Isaac, Bodhi, Riley, Tyler,  many cousins and friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 9 AM – 12 Noon with religious service beginning at 11:30 at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908)725-1887. www.bongiovifuneralhome.com   Burial will be private at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Somerville. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 16 East Somerset Street, Raritan, NJ 08869.
