Somerville, NJ – Brent Cowden, 30, died April 1, 2016. He was born in Somerville on November 21, 1985 to his dear parents, Mary McNeil and David Cowden.

Brent enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, and listening to all kinds of contemporary music. He was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Brent is survived by his beloved parents, Mary McNeil and David Cowden and step-father, Stephen Minarik, his dear brother, David Cowden and step-brother, Douglas Minarik and wife Jill, his loving step-sister, Rebecca Minarik and nephew, Collin, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, and his fiancé, Carrie Smith. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Viewing, Thursday, April 7, 2016, 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887). Religious Service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial is private.
