Steamboat Springs, CO – Joseph S. Russo, 95, died March 30, 2016. He was born in Raritan, NJ (where he resided most of his life) on March 18, 1921 to his dear parents Rose and Carmelo Russo.
Joe was an Electrician for VA Depot, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II, a member of the VFW in Raritan, a communicant at St. Ann's Church in Raritan, a devoted husband, father, and brother. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed watching baseball (especially the New York Yankees), and collected miniature elephants. Joe was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Joe is survived by his loving son, Joseph A. Russo of Steamboat Springs, CO. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy Russo (December 6, 2007), his parents, and two brothers.

Funeral Services, Wednesday, April 6, 2016, viewing 8:30 to 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869.
Entombment, St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
