Hackettstown – Douglas Steven deCastro died suddenly on January 18, 2024.
He was born to Adeline deCastro and Alfred deCastro along with his twin brother David on March 22, 1965. Dougs early life was in Maplewood New Jersey, the town he would call home almost his entire life.
He attended Columbia High School, then he pursued his passion of playing the guitar.
Predeceased by his parents, his older brother Allan deCastro and nephew, Robert deCastro.
He is survived by his twin Brother, David (Carol) deCastro along with his Sister, Doreen (Andrew) Czirok. His niece Serena deCastro and nephew Luke deCastro along with many cousins.
He will be deeply missed. He will always be remembered for his love of playing his guitar and his love of animals.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan.
