RARITAN-     Jennalyn Rose Irey, 16, died on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Jennalyn was a former student of Bridgewater Raritan High School, a current student attending Greenbrook Academy.  Jennalyn had a passion for hair, nails and makeup, with the dream of attending Cosmetology School.  Her passion in life was wide ranged. She loved music, animals, her family and friends.   She was a vibrant “free spirited” young lady who loved the outdoors, especially the beach and building backyard campfires.  Jennalyn, like a butterfly, would spread her wings and share her laughter, generosity, creativity with all those she knew.

She is survived by her mother Melynie Irey, father Craig Irey, brother CJ, sister Julia, grandmother Gabrielle Strelko and grandparents Jack & Sue Irey, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.  Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 25, 2023, 11 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 60 Maple Avenue, Bridgewater. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, 551 Route 28, Bridgewater.
