Dominick T. Laggini, age 91, passed at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday June 18, 2023.   He was born on May 14, 1932, in Raritan NJ to his dear parents Frank and Elizabeth (Gabinelli) Laggini.

Dominick was married to the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Ann Marie Fasano for 69 wonderful years.  He served his beloved country by enlisting in the United States Navy in 1951 and was assigned to the U.S.S Macon.  He was honorably discharged in 1955.  Dominick was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Somerville NJ.   He was an avid hunter and freshwater fisherman.  He enjoyed watching the Penn State Nittany Lions Football games.   He loved his vegetable garden, the Jersey Shore, especially Normandy Beach and Seaside Heights.  Dominick’s greatest joy came by spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren Morgan and Brock.  He was a wonderful, kind and generous person and was loved by all.  Everyone who knew him called him affectionately by his nickname “Ludge”.  

Dominick is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Marie, son David Laggini of Readington NJ and daughter Fran Michelle Kramer of Flemington NJ and the joys of his life his grandchildren Morgan Ashley and Brock Dominick. He is also survived by his brother Albert “Chickie” Laggini and sister Jean Radice.  

Dominick was predeceased by 4 loving brothers and 2 cherished sisters.

A viewing will take place on Thursday June 23, 2023, between 4:00pm and 7:00pm at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue Raritan NJ 908-725-1887.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Church 35 Mountain Ave Somerville NJ.  Entombment will follow at St Bernard Cemetery Rt 28 Bridgewater NJ.
