Obituary of Barbara Harcarik
Hillsborough, NJ
Barbara Harcarik, age 80, of Bridgewater NJ, was born on October 29, 1942 and passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
Barbara was born in Newark NJ, lived in Union, NJ and moved to Bridgewater, NJ where she resided most of her life.
She was a homemaker, class mother for her children and a loving and caring mom. She also cared for each of her parents, Tom and Cecile, in their later years. Barbara spent many hours in the kitchen and loved to cook for her family and friends, often sharing her creations. She was a very beautiful and loving woman with a kind smile for all she met. Her warmth was much appreciated by those who knew her and her genuine care for her fellow person was remarkable. She would listen to everyone, hear their stories and connect. She enjoyed bingo and she won!, loved watching TV (Tom Selleck was her favorite), and loved her baby, companion, and friend, her kitty cat Munchie, aka: Bunny Rabbit, also a proud member of Furry Friends Cat Club. She enjoyed listening to music of all varieties with Frank Sinatra, Roger Miller and Glen Campbell being some of her favorites. Barbara enjoyed the simple things in life and lived well and independently for many years. She will be truly missed by those who were blessed to know her well.
Barbara is survived by her sons Jeffrey and William Harcarik Jr; Carolyn Vadimski (the daughter she never had); nephews Cory Cuomo and family; Jeremy Cuomo and family; grandchildren Lauren, Dylan and Nolan Harcarik (predeceased), Jake and Devon Harcarik; as well as great grandchildren Kinley and Knox Harcarik. Family members Susan DelRocco Robinson, Anthony DelRocco; Beverly Harcarik Urbanski (predeceased), Lynne Legge-Florio, Ed Legge; brother James Cuomo, sister Sandra Kinlaw, very special friend Carolyn Ennis Griffen and many other friends.
