Victor C. Dulay, MD, 79, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2022, surrounded by his children. He is survived by his daughters, Antonette T. Dulay-Tiongco, MD (Alvin) and Cristina L. Dulay-Benn, Esq. (Derek); son, Master Sergeant, Victor A. Dulay, Jr.; and grandchildren, Alton, Angelina, Sebastian, and Dylan. His wife, Elisa T. Dulay, MD, predeceased him in 2016.

Victor was born in Manila, Philippines. He attended MAPA High School and the University of the Philippines (UP) for college. He met Elisa while attending medical school at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center (UERMMC) in Manila.  They relocated to the United States to complete their residency training after medical school. Victor completed his Anesthesiology residency training at New York University Medical Center. Victor loved his work and took care of many patients when he practiced in New Jersey.  

Throughout his life, Victor was known as a writer and scholar, as the recipient of several essay awards. He was the Editor of his schools’ yearbooks and newspapers. His love of preserving memories continued as the family shutterbug and historian. Family and friends often received photomontages with touching articles. He loved New Jersey’s cool summer nights and walking his yard watching the hot air balloons fill the sky in Whitehouse Station. He loved traveling - especially to National Parks and commandeered many family road trips where the family listened to his crafted playlists while playing jeopardy in the car.

On Saturday, October 22, 2022, a celebration of life will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Branchburg Funeral Home in Branchburg, NJ and memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Raritan, N.J., followed by inurnment at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater, N.J.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Bongiovi Funeral Home Raritan NJ utilizing the Branchburg Funeral Home facility for a celebration of life service.
