Bridgewater, NJ – Joseph Lauyer Jr., 77, died February 6, 2016. Born in Somerville on September 30, 1938 to Julia Gambino and Joseph Lauyer Sr.

Joe was a Mason Contractor for Lauyer Masonry in Flemington, and was known to be a hard worker. He was a devoted husband, loving father, dearest grandfather, and great-grandfather. Joe was a kind, caring, charming, generous person, who will be sadly missed by all.

Joseph is survived by his loving children, Robert and wife Joni, Joseph III and wife Mirna, Brad and wife Kristen, Kyle Lauyer, Sheri and husband Mark DeCorso, Shannon and husband John Allrand; a dear brother, William "Billy" and wife Beverly Lauyer, a loving sister, Rosemary Colligas; ten wonderful grandchildren, Robert, Matthew, Carissa, April, Gaven, Brandon, Sierra Lauyer, Michael, Keri, Kristen DeCorso; and one great-granddaughter, Brookelyn Lauyer. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Winifred Lauyer (February 1, 2007), his parents, a brother, Robert Lauyer, and a brother-in-law, Michael Colligas.

Funeral Services, Friday, February 12, 2016, viewing 8:30 to 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Magdalen's Church, Flemington, NJ.
