Raritan, NJ – Rosina Carra, 84, died February 7, 2016. She was born in Nao Calabria, Italy on April 5, 1931 to Giuseppina Deodato and Antonio Signoretta. Rosina enjoyed gardening, knitting, and cooking. She was a kind, caring, generous person, who devoted her life to family especially her children and grandchildren, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Rosina is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Nazzareno; her loving children, Giuseppe (Denise), Luigi (Carmelina), Antonio (Lisa), Carmen (Gary), and Macrina; two dear brothers, Filippo and Pasquale; many grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-laws here in the U.S. and in Italia. She was predeceased by her parents; four brothers, Domenico, Luigi, Nicola, and Giuseppe; and a sister, Concetta. Viewing, Wednesday, February 10, 2016, 5:00 to 9:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887). Funeral Services, Thursday, February 11, 2016, viewing 8:30 to 9:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 16 East Somerset Street, Raritan, NJ 08869. Entombment, St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
