Obituary of Shally V Moolan

Shally V Moolan, 53, died Tuesday November 23, 2021, peacefully at home in Plainsboro NJ surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on April 12, 1968, to her dear parents Kathreena and Varghese Moolan in Chalakudy India. 

Shally was a registered nurse at Capital Health Care in Hopewell NJ.  She loved gardening, cooking and enjoyed her time of prayer with a strong devotion to Holy Mother Mary.  Shally loved watching comedy and cooking shows, listening to devotional music and was a fan of watching movies.   She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many and will be missed by all who knew her. 

Shally is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Joseph D. Urakath, the joys of her life, her two sons Jerry and Rijo and brother Biju and wife Rosemol and in-law Lissy. 

Shally was predeceased by her parents Kathreena and Varghese Moolan and two brothers Joy and Sabu. 

A viewing will take place on Saturday November 27, 2021 between 9:00am and10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St Thomas Syro Malabar Church 508 Elizabeth Ave Somerset NJ.  Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery 899 E Lincoln Ave Piscataway NJ.
