Obituary of Gail L. Schilizzi

Gail L. Schilizzi, age 66, beloved sister, aunt, great aunt and daughter of Frank T. and Margaret C. Schilizzi, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, November 18, 2021.

Gail was a graduate of Franklin High School and the Cittone School for Court Reporters. She was a court official for 32 years at the Middlesex County Superior Court in New Brunswick, NJ.  She then went on to freelance for American Court Reporters, Inc.

Gail was a world-wide traveler, enjoyed everything from 5 star dining to doing things on the spur of the moment such as—going for a seafood dinner—all the way to Maryland! Gail will be remembered for her generous spirit of giving, her love of life and her infectious laugh—she was a party all by herself! Gail was unforgettable and loved by all she met.

She was predeceased by her parents, Frank T. and Margaret C. Schilizzi of Somerset, NJ and her brother Frank Thomas, Jr. of East Stroudsburg, Pa.  She is survived by her sister, Diane E. Berg of Bridgewater, her niece Rachel Berg, nephew Eric Berg and his wife Jessica, 2 great-nephews, Colton Boutillier-Berg and Eric Berg, Jr. and 2 great-nieces Cadence Berg and Melrose Berg.—They all adored their fun-loving “Gailsy”!  She is also survived by many loving cousins and close friends and will be dearly missed by every life she touched!

She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy RC Church, South Bound Brook, NJ.

Private funeral services under the direction of Bongiovi Funeral Home, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887. A Celebration of Gail’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
