Obituary of Barbara T Reilly

Barbara T. (Santoro) Reilly, 79, entered eternal life on Thursday July 1, 2021 in Hillsborough NJ after a long illness. She was born October 7, 1941 in Somerville NJ to her loving parents the late Irene and Rocco Santoro.  She graduated from Somerville High School in 1960. She married and raised her two loving daughters Amy and Kelly in Middlesex NJ.  Barbara also resided in Bridgewater Township NJ and Whiting NJ before settling in Hillsborough Township NJ. Barbara was a parishioner of St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church of Manchester NJ.  She was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, gardening and singing in the church choir. She had a love for animals, caring for many over the years. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Barbara is survived by her loving daughters: Amy DiGiovanni and her husband Gary of Ringoes NJ, Kelly Addario and her husband Anthony of South Plainfield NJ, her sister, Maryann Evon, her brother, Francis Santoro, her nieces and nephews and her beloved grandchildren: Joseph, Sam and Jake DiGiovanni and Katie Addario. 

Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Apgar, her parents Rocco and Irene Santoro, her brother Thomas Santoro, former husbands Kenneth Apgar and Harry Reilly and her companion Bob Walters.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for a visitation on July 8, 2021 between 10:00am and 1:00pm at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Ave Raritan NJ 08869. A prayer service will be conducted by Father John Rozembajgier.at the funeral home. Barbara will be laid to rest immediately following at St Bernard RC Cemetery in Bridgewater NJ.
