Obituary of Marissa Ann Suslow

Allentown, PA -  Marissa Ann Suslow, 32, died on Monday, June 28, 2021.  She was born on May 27, 1989 in Ridgewood, NJ to her beloved parents Marilyn Ilvento and Allen Suslow.

Marissa grew up in Hillsborough, before relocating to Phillipsburg and Allentown.  She received her GED and was employed at Fiamma Italian Grill in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  Marissa enjoyed animals/dogs, bonfires, loud music, wearing sneakers, smoking cigarettes and jeeps.  She was admired as a “glam” girl who loved shopping especially at Victoria Secret, pink purses and putting on makeup.  Marissa fought a lot of demons in her life, she beat some and some may have beaten her.  She was beautiful and down to earth with a bougie side and tortured soul who was striving to be happy.  She had dreams of being a wife, a mother and settling down.  Marissa will be remembered by all who knew and loved her as always feeling cold, always late, outgoing, loving, generous, sensitive, casual and free-spirited.

Marissa is survived by her beloved mother Marilyn Ilvento, her beloved father Allen Suslow and wife Diane, loving siblings Stephanie Suslow and fiancé Michael Bolton, Michael and Christopher Suslow, maternal grandmother Madelyn Ilvento, cherished nephew Wyatt Bolton and niece Charlotte Bolton as well as her beloved dogs King and Ace.  She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather Canio Ilvento and paternal grandparents Sanford and Miriam Suslow.  

Visitation from 2:00pm to 5:30pm on Friday, July 2, 2021 followed by a prayer service at 5:30pm to be conducted by Pastor Susan Gunther at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887.  Cremation private.
