Obituary of Shirley J Puthumana

Morganville-   Shirley J. Puthumana, 61, died on Friday, May 14, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on January 16, 1960 to the late Thresiamma and K.C. Joseph in Kerala, India.

Shirley was a devoted wife, loving mother, aunt and sister.  She was a faithful and trusting servant of God, generous and humble, a pleasant person who was loved by many.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband James M. Puthumana, loving children Jeremy and Stephanie, her sisters Mariamma Mammachen, Sr. Sophie Maria, Ann Thomas, Gracy Antony, Valsamma Babu, Selin Raju and Sonya Karott.  She is predeceased by her parents and a brother Chackochan. 

Visitation Sunday, May 16, 2021 from 3:30pm to 7:30pm with a Mass celebrated by Rev. Father Aby Mathew Puthumana from 6:00pm to 7:00pm and Tuesday, May 18, 2021 a Funeral Mass from 10:00am to 11:15am at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church 508 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, NJ  08873 followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.
