Anthony Dalesandro
Happiest when surrounded by his family.

Anthony Dalesandro, 87, died December 16, 2020, at his home in Middlesex, NJ. Known to everyone as Tony, he was predeceased by his parents Mary and Patrick Dalesandro and wife of 62 years Betty Lou Dalesandro.  He leaves behind a sister Joyce Hala, his children Richard A. (Bernadette) Dalesandro, Teri (Doug) Rollyson, Mary (Bob) Pollock and Nadine Dalesandro; 8 grandchildren Danielle, Dena, Anthony, Gina, Richie, Angela, Elizabeth and Nicole and 7 great-grandchildren.
Tony was born and raised in Plainfield NJ, before moving his family to Middlesex in 1975. He was the proud owner of the Plainfield Book Shop for many years.  He enjoyed hanging out at the Chadwick Marina, lunch at the Golden Corner, Frank Sinatra, baseball, history, and was a master at Trivial Pursuit.  Tony loved a good slice of pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, a cold beer on a hot day, watching his grandchildren play sports, reading anything and everything, a nice car, a good pair of shoes and searching for the perfect Christmas gifts for his family.  He was a US Navy veteran.
