Obituary of Caryl Ann Schiller

Caryl Ann Schiller, age 88, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Parker at Landing Lane in New Brunswick, NJ. She is survived by 4 children, Cathy Kaplan and husband Steve of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Jeffrey Schiller and his longtime partner, Sandy Jackson of Long Valley, NJ, Lisa Schiller of New Hope, PA and Sandra Matuska and her husband Joe of Alexandria, NJ,  8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Caryl was born to Fred and Eleanor Schweinberg on October 9,1932 in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from Dormont High School. After moving to Somerset, NJ and then Bridgewater in 1969, Caryl was an Executive Assistant at Hoechst Celanese for over 15 years, before retiring. Caryl worked several part times jobs after retirement. Caryl was also a member of the Bridgewater Garden Club, where she held the position of Treasurer for over 20 years, as well as an exceptional bridge player and golfer.  Caryl enjoyed entertaining around the Holidays, especially Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Fourth of July. She enjoyed vacationing in Long Beach Island, NJ; a 40-year tradition.  “Gram” will be truly missed by her family and many friends. Caryl was preceded in death by her brother Fred Schweinberg and Sister Audrey McMullen.
