Obituary of Evelyn T. Stinson
BRIDGEWATER- A resident of the Bradley Gardens section of Bridgewater for 80 years, Evelyn T. Stinson, 82, died on Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was born on April 18, 1938 in the Bronx, NY to the late Adaline and Richard Rothwell.
Evelyn was employed as a Data Entry at Lab Corp. in Raritan and was a shelver at the Somerset County Library. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, cooking and gardening especially canning from her garden. Evelyn was a member of the Somerset County Historical Society and in the bell choir for Bradley Gardens Community Church. She was a dedicated woman to her family, friends and church. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Evelyn is survived by her beloved husband Robert, loving children Robert, Doris Stinson, Diane Whitlock (Roland) and Deborah Stinson, cherished grandchildren Luis Lecaros, Jr. (Rosa), Daniel Lecaros, Brandon Whitlock (Schyla) and Kevin Whitlock, great grandson Liam Lecaros. She is predeceased by her parents, a grandson Paul Lecaros and Aunt Maude and Uncle Robert Rockerfello.
Visitation from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 and Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908) 725-1887. Religious service 12:00pm on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at the funeral home followed by burial at New Cemetery of Somerville, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bradley Gardens Community Church 124 Old York Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 or a charity of your choice.
