Obituary of Sebastino Barney Orlando

Sebastino Barney Orlando, 63, died on August 27, 2020 at his home in Raritan Borough surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Manhattan New York on August 30, 1956 to his parents Sebastiana Bonanno and Salvatore Orlando.  Sebastino spent the majority of his life residing in Brooklyn NY before moving to Raritan Borough 2 years ago.  Sebastino was a lifelong painter and worked for 32 years for the NY Transit/ MTA before retiring in 2018.   He was known to many as “Barney”

Sebastino was a devoted and loving husband and father and friend to many. He was a family man who enjoyed traveling and especially enjoyed the Caribbean Islands and the Jersey Shore. He was always there for his family helping the joys of his life his sons with whatever project they were working on.  He was a jokester who enjoyed telling bad dad jokes and then laugh prior to the punch line.  Sebastino was a jolly person who always was smiling and laughing.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Sebastino is survived by his loving wife Nilda Laporte and his two sons Adam Orlando and Andrew Orlando both of Clifton NJ.   

A viewing will take place on Sunday August 30, 2020, on Sebastino’s birthday which he shared with his mother,  between 3:00pm and 6:00pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue Raritan NJ 908-725-1887.  Burial will be private.
