Raritan, NJ – Teresa Riga, 87, died December 2, 2015. She was born in Modica, Sicily, Italy on January 31, 1928 to Antonietta Franze and Fedele Cugliari.

Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and great-aunt who was a terrific cook. She was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Teresa is survived by her loving children, Anthony Riga (Cheryl) of Hillsborough, John Riga (Susan) of Bridgewater, and Anna Tantillo (Rico) of Raritan; a dear sister, Clara Greco of Italy; five wonderful grandchildren, Fortunato Riga, Fortunato John Riga, Teresa Riga, Domenico and Marco Tantillo; two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gregorio Riga; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fortunato Riga Jr. (February 4, 2015); her parents; a brother, Giovanni Cugliari; and two sisters, Elizabeth Gianni and Nancy DiGraziano.

Funeral Services, Monday, December 7, 2015, viewing 8:30 to 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869.
