Obituary of Julia E. Fisher

Julia E. “Julie” Fisher 69, passed peacefully into eternity on Friday, May 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband Randy, her four loving children Randolph Jr. (Peggy), Thomas (Michelle), Christine Belverio (Thomas) and Stephanie Hoiberg (Brian), nine cherished grandchildren Allison, Randy III, Hailey, Morgan, Sienna, Quintin, Braeden, Madelyn and Elissa. Julie is also survived by her brothers Robert (Robyn), Dominick (Sarajean), brother-in-law Gerard (Nancy), sisters-in-law Andrea Ballard (David) and Theresa Morris (Richard).
Born in Jersey City, NJ on December 23, 1949, to her loving parents Helena and Nunzio Romano, and graduated from North Bergen High School in 1967. She, Randy and children moved from North Bergen to Bridgewater, NJ in 1988. Julie and her husband retired to Ave Maria, Florida, in 2015. During her working years, Julie worked at St. Michael’s High School, North Bergen High School, M&T Chemicals, Sherman & Sons and ultimately retired from Rutgers University as an administrative assistant.
Julie was a kind, caring, loving person, who always had a smile. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. When she lived in New Jersey she was actively involved with St. Ann’s Church in Raritan, NJ as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister, and then in Ave Maria Church in Florida. Julie was a baker and often donated her time and talent to numerous functions for St. Ann’s Church. During retirement she loved to travel with friends and family. She also was a member of her local bocce club and garden club. She will greatly be missed for her kindness, smile and genuine friendship.
She was predeceased by her parents Helena (Baffuto) and Nunzio Romano.
Viewing will be on Monday, May 13, 2019, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Funeral Home.
Viewing on Tuesday May 14, 2019, 8:30-9:15am at the Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00am St. Ann’s Church, Raritan, NJ. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway, NJ.
