Obituary of Edith Tury

Raritan:

Edith Tury died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at RWJ in Somerville, NJ surrounded by her loving family.    She was born to her dear parents Philomena (Sarano) and Gregorio De Stefano in Jersey City, NJ.  Edith was a retired seamstress for Giddings & Company.  In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking trips to Atlantic City.  Edith loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Edith is survived by her beloved daughter Gail Tury-Bower son-in-law Ernest Bower, and her cherished grandchildren Matthew and Abigail Bower.

Edith is predeceased by her husband Stephen who died in 1979, her parents and her siblings Vincent, Eugene, Richard, John, Anthony, Margaret, Ann, and Theresa. 

Viewing will be Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5-8pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan NJ (908) 725-1887. 

Funeral service on Thursday, October 25, 2018 beginning with a viewing from 8:45-9:30am at the Funeral Home followed by a 10am funeral Mass at St. Ann Church 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ.

Burial at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater NJ.
