Elizabeth Brown, 66, died peacefully on Monday July 30, 2018 at home in Raritan Borough surrounded by her loving daughters after a long fought battle with breast cancer. She was born on February 1, 1952 in Irvington NJ to her dear parents Elizabeth (Kordoski) and James McKenna. Elizabeth spent the majority of her life living in Bridgewater and Raritan Borough NJ. Elizabeth was a business analyst working for Chubb & Son Insurance for many years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching TV shows such as CSI and Criminal Minds and was a huge Harry Potter fan. Elizabeth loved everything colored purple and especially purple flowers. She loved the beach and spending time at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She loved cats and adored her Mittens and Oreo. A devoted mother and grandmother, Elizabeth was a kind and caring woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughters, Jaime Cole (husband Jason) of Raritan Borough NJ and Kristal Brown of Middletown DE. She will be sadly missed by the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown, Michael Muskal, Reilly Cole, Liam Cole and Frederick Muskal. She is also survived by two sisters, Ellen Reno and Maureen Galvante-McKenna.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents and her brother Raymond McKenna.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday August 3, 2018 from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm at Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan NJ (908) 725-1887.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Elizabeth's name to the Steeplechase Cancer Center at RWJ Somerset Hospital in Somerville New Jersey.
