Obituary of John Gratalo Sr.

Raritan-           John Gratalo, Sr. 88, died on February 15, 2018.  He was born on July 3, 1929 in Hughestown, PA to the late Mary and Matthew Gratalo.

John was an Electronic Tech for the Civil Service in Fort Monmouth, NJ.  He enjoyed fishing at Round Valley, camping and playing poker in Atlantic City.  All who knew him will remember him as a devoted husband and caregiver for his beloved wife Anna Mae and a loving father and grandfather.  John will be sadly missed.  

John is survived by his children Matthew (fiancé Lori Jones) and John Jr. (Minica) and Cheryl Maddaluna (Sam); grandchildren Ryan, Madison, Briana, Abbey and Kimberly; a brother Donald (Susan); a sister Elizabeth Jones (Robert); a sister-in-law Frances Gratalo; several nieces and nephews; He is predeceased by his wife Anna Mae (December 2, 2015) and 2 brothers Dominick and Thomas.

Viewing will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at funeral home.  Funeral services will be Monday, February 19, 2018 beginning with a viewing 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a 12:00 pm Funeral mass at St. Ann Church 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ.  Burial St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
