Obituary of Thelma Louise Rohmann
After a hard-fought battle with Alzheimer's, Thelma Louise Rohmann, 91, went home to be with her Savior on February 11, 2018. She was born on November 10, 1926, in Midland Texas to her dear parents, Minnie May (McDonald) and Joseph Barnett. Thelma relocated to High Bridge, NJ with her husband where they resided for 40 years before moving to Whitehouse, NJ 17 years ago. Thelma was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and prayer warrior. She loved her God and her family fiercely. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Thelma is survived by her six loving children: Barbara Navarro and her husband JC of Whitehouse NJ, Henry Rohmann and his wife Denise of Bound Brook, NJ, Jerry Rohmann and his wife Charlene of Bloomsbury, NJ, Kay Beam and her husband Brian of High Bridge, NJ, Fred Rohmann and his wife Juliana of Palm City, FL, and Dana Rohmann and his wife Gina of Bridgewater, NJ; 18 cherished grandchildren, and 25 beautiful great-grandchildren. Thelma was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband of 56 years, Henry, her dear siblings, Garrett Barnett, Peter Barnett, Ella (Tommy) Hendrix, Ava (Cookie) Walker, Jewel Sanders and Cladie Tant.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 1:00pm at Spruce Run Cemetery, Glen Gardner, NJ.
