Obituary of John E Spencer

John E. Spencer, 89, died November 14, 2017. He was born on January 15, 1928 in Fords, NJ, to his dear parents, Catherine (Novak) and Edward Spencer. John served in the Navy at the end of WWII and later completed training in the Middlesex County Police Reserve in 1955. He worked as a purchasing agent for National Lead Co. in Sayreville. John was very kind and caring and especially loved being "Pépère" to his grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend and will truly be missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his beloved wife Lorraine (Caron) Spencer, his dear sons, John Spencer and Mark Spencer, 4 loving daughters, Joan (Donald) Lamastra, Nancy (Marc) Angelone, Jacqueline (DeWayne) Hurdle and Janet Spencer, 8 cherished grandchildren and 6 great-grandchlidren. John was predeceased by his parents, a son Thomas Spencer and a grandson John Robert Spencer.
