Whiting, NJ – Barbara Ann ("Bobbie") Lanza, 89, formerly of Warren, NJ, died September 26, 2015. Born in New York City, NY on June 20, 1926 to Anna Ulrich and Ernest Horbach.
Barbara was the Director of Nurses at Green Brook Manor in Green Brook. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and Facebook. Barbara was a kind, caring, generous and strong willed person, dedicated to her family and profession. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her loving children, Ann (John) Carlson of Bridgewater, Paul Lanza of Kenilworth and Robert Lanza of Bridgewater; eight dear grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerardo Lanza (March 26, 1999), her parents, son Jerry Lanza, and two sisters, Doris Itzel and Catherine Testa.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Burial is private.
