Chand Kapoor, 87, of Matawan, died peacefully on August 29, 2017. She was born in Kolkata (Calcutta), India on June 20, 1930 to her dear parents Bhulakau Devi and NarsinghDas Khatri. She received a Masters Degree in music in India. Chand was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was kind and caring and will be truly missed by all her knew her.
Chand is survived by her loving children, Ajit Kapoor and his wife Sarah Jane, and Alka Bangia and her husband Ravi, 6 cherished grandchildren, a brother, Narendra, and a sister, Asha. She was predeceased by her parents and her beloved husband of 44 years, ShambuNath Kapoor, who died in 1981.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017, from 9:00am-11:00am at Franklin Memorial Park, Route 27 & Cozzins Lane, North Brunswick. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of India Funeral Service, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ, (866) 744-8200.
