Los Angeles, CA (formerly a resident of Raritan NJ) – Joseph "Red" C. Adamski Jr., 66, died July 30, 2017. He was born in Raritan, NJ on December 1, 1950 to his late parents Levona and Joseph Adamski Sr. Joseph was a Plumber for Adamski Plumbing in Raritan NJ and California, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Service Star from Vietnam. He was the President of the Culver City Chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America (CA), member of Veterans Advocacy Services in Los Angeles, CA, and Volunteered at Los Angeles Hope Center for Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment. Joseph was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He dedicated much of his time to supporting programs for substance abuse and disabled Veterans, drawing upon his own experiences to help others. Joseph is survived by his loving children, Joseph Adamski III (Eva), Peter Adamski, Thomas Adamski, Michael Adamski, and Natasha Adamski; two dear sisters, Mary Vollentine (Rex) and Barbara Davenport (Phil), three wonderful grandchildren, Melody, Annaliese, and Emma, and his former first wife, Susan A. DeLasso. He was predeceased by his second wife, Christa Adamski (September, 2009), his parents, and one brother, Charles Adamski. A Celebration of his life, Thursday, August 17, 2017, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887) followed by Burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.
