Ambato, Ecuador – Jorge Anibal Velastegui Altamirano, 77, died August 10, 2017. He was born in Ambato, Ecuador on January 9, 1940 to his late parents Maria Selinda Altamirano and David Velastegui.

 

Jorge was an Agricultural Worker for Avicolast Diego in Ambato, Ecuador. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfaher. Jorge was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

 

Jorge is survived by his beloved wife, Elva Lucila Santana Lozada; three loving children, Nelson (Concepcion) Velastegui, Diego (Christina) Velastegui, Lourdes (Rodrigo) Santana; six dear brothers; two loving sisters; nine wonderful grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents.

 

Viewing, Saturday, August 12, 2017, 5:00 to 9:00 pm and Sunday, August 13, 2017, 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887).

 

Burial in Ecuador.
