Obituary of Margaret Surek

Manville, NJ – Margaret Surek, 89, passed away on August 2, 2017 at RWJ@Somerset in Somerville NJ. She was born in Junedale, PA on July 16, 1928 to her late parents Mary Bizarre and Michael Salko. Margaret resided most of her life in Manville NJ. Margaret worked for RCA in Bridgewater NJ and Ortho Diagnostics in Raritan NJ where she retired in 1990. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Manville NJ. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and cousin. She married her late husband, Michael in September of 1948 and had 61 wonderful years with him. Margaret enjoyed cooking, watching soap operas, Dr. Pol, and the Dog Whisperer. And later in her life loved her dog, Rusty. She was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Margaret is survived by her loving son, Gregory Surek, her dear sister, Marie Davidovich, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Surek (September 27, 2009), her parents, five brothers, Michael, Wassil, John, George, Thomas, eight sisters, Dorothy, Mary, Maryann, Paulina, Dolores, Eva, Helen, Josephine, and her dog, Rusty.
