Obituary of Lillian Adeline Cocuzza

Lillian Adeline Cocuzza, 81, died July 15, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Lillian was born on October 29, 1935, in Newark, NJ to her late parents, Anna (Verdi) and James Petruzzi. She was a proud homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Lillian is survived by her loving son, Paul Cocuzza and his wife Rita, her cherished granddaughter Giuliana, her brother, Charles Petruzzi, her dear godchildren Vincent Petruzzi and Betty Wolf, and close niece, Johana Ciccone. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul Cocuzza, who died in 1983.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 5:00-8:00pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908) 725-1887. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 10:00am at St. Bernard's RC Church, 500 US Highway 22, Bridgewater, NJ. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
