RoseMarie Calogero, 83, of Somerset, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Somerset. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Somerset 13 years ago.

She was a member of the Somerset Run Women's Club and a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church in South Bound Brook.

RoseMarie had a passion for gardening and cooking and was known for her fantastic chicken parmesan and clam's oreganata. Her family meant the world to her and she never missed any of her grandchildren's extracurricular activities. Spending quality time with them was what she loved the most. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Matilde LoMonaco and Giambattista Celeste.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert S; her loving daughter, Marianne and husband Paul DeStefano of Bridgewater, NJ; 2 cherished grandchildren, Paul Robert, and Olivia Marguerite Rose; her dear sisters and brothers in law; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, June 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08876.

Funeral services will start with a prayer at the Bongiovi Funeral Home at 9:45am on Saturday, June 17, 2017 followed by a 10:30am funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Mercy Church 122 High St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880.

Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum in Basking Ridge.
