Manville, NJ – Matthew P. Murphy, 23, died March 24, 2017. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ on January 26, 1994 to Susan L. and Francis W. Murphy. Matt worked for KWS Sanitation in Glen Gardner NJ. He was a former Volunteer for the Manville Fire Department. Matt was very patriotic who would do anything for anyone. He played roller and ice hockey and football throughout all of his school years. Matt loved his motorcycles, animals, family, and friends. He was a kind, caring, generous person, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Matt is survived by his beloved parents, Susan and Frank Murphy; a brother, Carl Blomquist Jr.; two dear sisters, Jennifer and Nicole Murphy; many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins; his loving fiancé, Rebecca Kardos; and "his fur baby" Roxy. Viewing, Wednesday, March 29, 2017, 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887). Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory at the funeral home. "FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS"
