Obituary of Eleanor L Ruggini

Raritan, NJ – Eleanor L. Ruggini, 81, passed away on March 21, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in North Branch, NJ on July 9, 1935 to her late parents Mary Austin and Manch Hendershot. Eleanor was raised in Oldwick NJ before settling in Raritan in 1958. "Ellie's" family will have fond memories of her wonderful culinary talents including family and holiday dinners. Her husband Al ended each meal by saying, "Ellie, you out did yourself again!" Many good years were spent at their vacation home in the Poconos with family and friends. She was kind, caring, very generous, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Eleanor is survived by her loving children, Mary (Jack) Emilut, Theresa (Mike) Florczak, Connie (Raymond) Kraft, Tina (Matt) Patella; a dear brother, Edward (Alice) Hendershot; a loving sister, Ruth (Richard) Nadeau; nine wonderful grandchildren, Tara Emilut, John Emilut, Heather (Ariel) Almora, Kevin Florczak, Sara (Christopher) Morrison, R.J. Cincotta, Ethan Cincotta, Matthew Patella, and Isabella Patella; and three great-grandchildren (who made the last years of her life so enjoyable), Anthony Emilut, Miabella Almora, and Giovanni Almora. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Ruggini (March 10, 2013); her brothers, Manch, Robert, William, and a sister, Bertha.
