Somerset, NJ – Catherine "Katya" Marie Steele, 80, died February 18, 2017. She was born in Patton, PA on March 29, 1936 to her late parents, Marie Williams and James Moren.
Katya was a retired professional artist. She loved watercolor painting, sketching, and classical music. Katya also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter and playing with her cats. She was a witty, graceful lady with a huge heart, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Katya is survived by her loving son, Clifton R. Steele of Piscataway, NJ; her beloved granddaughter, Kylie Stellina Sullivan; a wonderful son-in-law, Kenneth Sullivan; two loving sisters, Milan and Jeanne; and two dear brothers, Jimmy and Patrick.. She was predeceased by her son, Nathan Jeremy Steele (died in infancy); and her parents.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887).
