Raritan, NJ – Marie Bernabe, 90, passed away August 20, 2016. She was born in Somerville, NJ on November 20, 1925.

Marie was a Line Operator at Johnson & Johnson "Ortho" in Raritan, a communicant at St. Ann's Church in Raritan and a member of the Raritan Fire Dept. Relief Hose #2 Women's Auxillary. She was a fan of the N.Y. Yankees, N.Y. Mets, and boxing. Marie had a keen sence of humor, and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a kind, caring, generous person and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Marie is survived by her loving children, Sandi Simon of Lawrenceville; Larry Bernabe (Nancy) of St. Louis, MO; Barbara Moretti (Tony Jr.) of Raritan, Denise Mendel (Tony) of Middlesex, Angelo V. Bernabe Jr. (Holly) of San Francisco, CA; four dear brothers, fourteen wonderful grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo V. Bernabe Sr. (December 22, 2008), her parents, four brothers, two sisters, and a son-in-law, William Simon.

Viewing will be Tuesday, August 23, 2016, 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869, (908-725-1887).

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016, viewing 8:30 to 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869.

Entombment will be at St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Sanofi US Breast Care Program at the Steeplechase Cancer Center, 110 Rehill Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876.
