EASTON, PA- Patrick J. Ryan, 66, of Easton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2015.

Patrick was born in Trenton, NJ and he lived most of his life in the Bridgewater area before retiring to Easton, PA. He graduated from St. Michael's College in 1971 with a degree in English Literature. Patrick held various jobs as a supervisor. He had a passion for reading history and politics and enjoyed auto racing. Patrick was a writer, fisherman and collected model trains. He loved his dogs, especially his Irish Wolfhounds Torloque, Mikey and Blake.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Amelia; his wonderful son and daughter- in- law Sean and Kelly and 2 cherished granddaughters; his sisters Denise, Sharon, Carol (Skip) and Christine (John) and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by family and friends, especially his long-time friends Serge and Alison. He is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Thelma Ryan and a sister Kathleen Ryan.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015, from 3:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ (908)725-1887.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 beginning with a viewing from 8:30 am-9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Bernard Church, 500 Rt. 22, Bridgewater, NJ.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
