Luis I. Santamaria, 68, of Plainfield, died on July 16, 2016. He was born in Quito, Ecuador, on July 31, 1947, to his dear parents Luz Villacis and Julio Santamaria. He was a driver for Adesa Auto Auction in Manville. Luis enjoyed playing Candy Crush on his IPhone. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and was kind and caring.
Luis is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Libia, three loving daughters, Sonia (Paul) Tipan, Mayra Santamaria and Luisa (Sergio) Muz, thirteen cherished grandchildren, one loving sister and two dear brothers. He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers.
Viewing, Thursday July 21, 2016, 4:00 to 8:00PM, at the Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869 (908) 725-1887. Funeral Mass, Friday, July 22, 2016, 10:00AM at St. Mary's Church, Plainfield, NJ. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.
