Aunt Girt was always sharp minded and a fun person to be around. My childhood memories are of the backyard BBQs and I always enjoyed sitting around and talking with Aunt Girt. The Christmas house parties were also so very joyful making the holidays so much more special.
Stopping by at times when I would be driving in her area, I would stop in and we would talk and I could catch up on the family happenings.
She would let me know the days when her and Uncle Jim would be playing bocce ball at the New Brunswick Senior Center. I would stop by in my patrol car get out and watch them play on a team. She was a strong and good bocce ball player.
Aunt Girt always had a real warm smile that I will always remember.
RIP Aunt Girt
Our love and condolences go out to cousins Joseph, Colleen, Joanne and their families.

"Aunt Gertie", as I've known her all my life, had a laugh that I'll never forget. Even now, as I write this, I can hear it and smile (& even laugh a little myself). Rest in peace Aunt Gertie, and deepest sympathies to the rest of her family at this trying time.

Dear Joe and Colleen,
I'm so sorry to hear of Aunt Gert's passing. When I was a kid, she was always fun to be around. I have very fond memories of playing cards with her, Uncle Joe and Mr./Mrs. Seiler when I used to sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa's on Friday nights. We used to laugh into the late hours of the evening. Those memories have a special place in my heart.
I will keep you and you family in my thoughts and prayers.
