Obituary of Robert James Bauer

Robert James (Bob) Bauer, 81, of Raritan, NJ passed away on Nov. 10, 2023, in RWJUH Somerset.

A funeral service will be held at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Ave Raritan, NJ, 08869, on Monday, November 20, 2023, 6-8PM.

Bob was born in Queens, NY to Estelle Rooney and William E Bauer on July 5,1942. He worked many jobs throughout his life, including Baker, Construction worker, and Oil burner technician. He enjoyed being with his family, being outside taking care of his home, and baking for family and neighbors.

Bob is survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth McKransky of Las Vegas and Martha Ruscito of Long Island, his children, Robert Bauer, Barbara Jean Rinaldi, and Alfred Bauer, his grandchildren, Dominic Rinaldi, Robert James (RJ) Bauer, Emily Bauer, Ian Rinaldi, Lucas Rinaldi, Logan Bauer, Jayce Bauer, and Eva-Sophia Bauer.

He is preceded in death by his spouse Catherine M. Coyle, his parents Estelle & William Bauer, and Sister Barbara Riley.
