"Vengan Solo y Salgan Acompañados”

Martin R Linares sr of Raritan, NJ, 94, passed away on Wednesday June 14th at 2:33pm at his home surrounded by his wife Aura Linares, sons, Ulysses Linares, Brahiam Linares, Ronaldo Linares, Martino Linares jr, his daughter Lori Bellan, and  Mariela Linares,  Monica Linares, Yara Linares and Elisa Deixler.  Martin was born in Matanzas, Cuba. He is now with his late mother and father, Natividad and Reynaldo, and his son Reynaldo.

Martin aka “Don Martino” was a force to be reckoned with, we like to say he lived many lives. From an ice cream man, a bounty hunter, DEA agent, Marine, POW, and restauranteur are just some of the great things he did.

Don Martino’s greatest gift was unifying people through food, he had a unique gift, the food he made would transport you, the flavors where unique like him and his talent was second to none.

Don Martino’s greatest achievement was being a father, he never let his family be without food or shelter. The love for his wife and his kids was unique, his family always knew they would be okay. Don Martino’s spirit was contagious in that way.

There are thousands of people that came across him and they will all tell you, his joy of life, smile, and always looking at every situation in a positive light gave people hope. Don Martino’s legend will live on forever.

As a grandfather “Abueltio” was special, all of his grandkids loved him. Don Martino had a lot of them. From oldest to youngest, Amanda, Jacqui, Rebecca, Kayla, Justen, Julian, Analia, Ivan, Guillermo, Bramayha, Brayden, Liam, and Zane.

Don Martino lived life on his own terms, unapologetic, and was never worried about peoples opinion of him.

Martin R Linares will be missed every second of everyday, all wew could do is honor him by living life like he did.

Till next time Papi!
