Obituary of Rory J Rodgers

Raritan, NJ - Rory John Rodgers, 68, died peacefully on October 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on May 30, 1948 in Wilkes Barre, PA to his dear parents Dorothy (nee Wolsiefer) and the late James Rodgers. Rory was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus #13264 Sgt. Basilone Council. He loved, golfing, performing Irish music on his guitar, and playing Jolly Old Saint Nick at the annual Knights of Columbus Christmas breakfast. Rory loved spending time with his family and he will be truly missed by all him knew him. Along with his mother, Rory is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Margaret (nee Verobie) Rodgers; 3 loving daughters: Melissa Rodgers, Michelle Bryant, and Megan Rodgers; 2 cherished granddaughters: Julia and Lilly; and 4 dear siblings: Patricia Ostrowski, Mary Catherine Rodgers, Linda Rodgers and James Rodgers.
