Antonio Lozito, 92, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater.
Born on April 23, 1933, Antonio was the son of the late Mary (née Sperri) and Michael Lozito. He was a proud graduate of Somerville High School and remained connected to his community throughout his life.
Antonio proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. Following his military service, he dedicated many years of hard work as a forklift operator in shipping and packaging at the GSA Depot.
Antonio shared over 50 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Dorothy. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and devotion. He found great joy in fishing and hunting, hobbies that brought him peace and many cherished memories.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; his step-son, David (Judy) Dominici; his step-daughters, Patricia Bishop (Robert), Valerie (Frank) Pinkerton, and Lisa Cardona; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He also leaves behind extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Viewing and funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Somerville New Cemetery, 192 South Bridge Street, Somerville.
Antonio’s legacy of faith, dedication, and love for family will be remembered always.
