Bartholomew M. Sena, 86, of Raritan, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. He was born in Somerville, New Jersey on January 26, 1939, to his late parents Gladys and Ercole Sena and has resided in Raritan for most of his life.

Bart proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the US Army.

Bartholomew graduated from Somerville High School, where he was recognized as an All-State wrestler. He went on to build a long and successful career as a Hair Stylist, and owned and operated his own salon for many years,

He was a devoted parishioner of St. Ann’s Church in Raritan and faithfully attended Sunday Mass, for as long as he was able.  His faith and participation at mass, were extremely important to him.

He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with friends and family. Bartholomew will be remembered as a great friend, a generous person, a loving husband, a devoted father, and a talented stylist who brought joy to everyone he met.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister and brother-in-law, Bobby and Buddy Carroll.

He is survived by four dear sons, Michael Sena, Joshua Sena, Ricky Williams, and David Williams; and two loving daughters, Christine Sena and Kellie and husband Erik Peterson.

Funeral services are private under the direction of the Bongiovi Funeral Home 416 Bell Avenue Raritan, NJ 08869.

A Memprial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11 AM The Catholic Church of St. Ann, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ.
