Gloria Joye Dixon, 91, of New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. She was born on January 23, 1934, in Plainfield, NJ, to her late parents, Lucinda Ruth (nee Woodruff) and Louis Santonastaso.
Gloria lived a full and joyful life surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who found great happiness in bringing people together. Gloria was known for her warm hospitality, her delicious cooking, and her love of entertaining. She especially cherished family gatherings and holiday celebrations. A passionate collector, she took great delight in her collection of swans and ducks, each piece representing her gentle and graceful spirit.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Dixon Sr.; her loving daughter, Kathleen Dixon; her son-in-law, John Williams; her sister, Carol Natale; and her four brothers, Frank, Greg, Louis, and Anthony Santonastaso.
Gloria is survived by her two loving daughters, Karen Williams and Deborah Tirado and companion Barry Suydam; two dear sons, Robert Evans Dixon Jr. and Anthony and his wife Georgeen Dixon; her brother, Paul Santonastaso; and two sisters, Dale Molnar and Joye [last name]. She also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren and ten adored great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
Funeral services will be private and are under the direction of Bongiovi Funeral Home, 416 Bell Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869.
Gloria will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her warmth, laughter, and legacy of love will live on through her family.
