Jacob Kelayil Thomas, 81, of Round Rock, Texas, died on October 12, 2025. He was born on May 10, 1944, in Ponkunnam, Kerala, India, to his parents, Saramma and Pothan Thomas.

Jacob and his wife, Molly, raised three beautiful daughters: Jenny (Aneesh Chandy), Jemy (Lilib Kurian), and Jinu Sosy (Vishal Edison). He worked as a dedicated teacher and was deeply committed to his family and faith. Jacob especially cherished spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him great joy. A devout Christian, he lived his life guided by love, kindness, and humility.

He is survived by his beloved wife, his loving daughters, sons-in-law, his cherished grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Jacob was predeceased by his parents, brothers, and sisters.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Viewing will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2025, 6 – 7 PM, Mass at 7:30 PM.  Funeral Mass on Friday, October 18, 2025, 9 AM at St. Thomas Syro Malabar Catholic Forane Church, 508 Elizabeth Street, Somerset.  Burial following at Resurrection Cemetery, East Lincoln Avenue & Hoes Lane, Piscataway.
